UNDP and the Ministry of Finance reinforce municipal administrations on local finances, public accounting and municipal management in Malanje

Malanje, 30 November 2008 – UNDP Angola and the Ministry of Finance organized in Malanje a seminar on local finances, public accounting and municipal management, within the framework of the Decentralization and local Governance Project.

This training which lasted three days counted on the participation of 45 local administrators of the five provinces covered by the project.

The training was organized in the context of financial and budgetary decentralization. It dealt with accountancy, patrimonial management, human resources management and annual budget planning.

After Bengo and Uige, the province of Malanje was the third to receive the donation of car and equipments offered by the UNDP.
